Vision: A church of Christ in word and deeds continuously transferring the world to God’s kingdom.

The church is located in Mji Wa Huruma; an informal settlement bordering Runda within Nairobi. Mji Wa Huruma has a population of approximately 3000 people some of whom work as casual laborers in Runda with a few others running small businesses in the settlement. There are also quite a number of people who have nothing to do.

New Dawn Educational Centre (NDEC) was started at the ICCD. The church is involved in activities such as open air evangelism, home-fellowship and bible study. The church also engages itself in mobilization of the community to participate in cleaning the settlement, digging of disposal pits and jigger eradication campaigns.

The Pastor in-charge is known as Sammy Kamau.
